If you would like to use the grill, remember to bring charcoal as it is not provided. A charcoal chimney and fire starters are provided in the property with instructions on how to use them. 1. The use of the swim spa/hot tub is a voluntary act and is done at participants' OWN RISK.
2. This is an above ground swim/spa hot tub. In addition to the below rules, because you cannot see occupants of the swimmer or hot tub, an adult MUST be present to SUPERVISE anyone under the age of 18! We will not be held liable for any drowning, or accidental death the occurs on our property or in our swim spa/hot tub.
3. Pregnant women, children under the age of 5 years old, and those with heart disease ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE HOT TUB. They may use the swimmer if the temperature does not exceed 88-90 degrees.

5. Those who are sensitive to chemicals or have skin sensitivities should not use the swim spa/hot tub.
6. Those who are ill, or have open sores/wounds, or cuts, should not get into the swim/spa hot tub, and those who have diarrhea must never get in.
7. Children above the age of 5 years but below 14-18 must be supervised in the hot tub. Children below 14-18 must be supervised in the swimmer. Please know the children in your party and supervise those above 14 at your discretion.
8. The hot tub portion is a four to five (4-5) person hot tub. Only 5 people are allowed at one time.
9. Never use the swim spa/hot tub if thunder or lightning is in the area.
10. Do not sit, lay, or stand, or place children on the swim spa/hot tub cover – it will collapse into the swim spa. You will be charged for any and all damage to the swim spa cover.
11. Unlock and unhook all clips before folding and removing swim spa cover. Store swim spa cover inside the shed and not outside to insure it does not become dirty. Please make sure you are able to pick the covers up to re-install. If you store the cover on the slim side of the spa you may not be able to maneuver it back up to the top.
12. Check the chemical strip yourself before getting in to be sure the pH and bromine levels are at the recommended levels. If not, or if the water looks murky or slimy, don’t get in. Alert us.
13. We use bromine as a sanitizer for the water. Do not add any other chemicals such as bleach, chlorine, or other spa, or pool chemicals. If the water becomes imbalanced during your stay, we will attempt to send someone out to check it out and treat it. The only chemicals or substances you should ever add to the spa are bromine tablets into the spa floater, or small increments of water, and only at the advising of your host. Do not attempt to add water to the spa without host’s consent, as adding water will affect the chemical balance.
14. Check the temperature of the water. Do not get in if it is over 104˚.
15. Stay hydrated before getting into the swim spa or hot tub.
16. Shower off particles, oils, cosmetics, hair gels, etc…with soap and thoroughly rinse off before getting into the swim spa/hot tub. ****This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT if you have been in the lake. BE SURE TO RINSE OFF AFTER BEING IN THE LAKE WATER OR BEING OUT IN THE SUN WITH OR WITHOUT SUNSCREEN****
17. Do not apply lotions, sunscreens, creams, or oils before getting into the swim spa/hot tub. Any of these substances will dirty the water and create an imbalance of chemicals that keep the swimmer and hot tub water clean and safe for all guests.
18. Do not wear jewelry in the swim spa/hot tub.
19. DO NOT put oils, bath bombs, bubbles, food, drinks, glitter, confetti, dirt, sand, or any other foreign substance in the swim spa/hot tub at any time.
20. No animals, urine, or feces in the hot tub.
21. Wipe all dirt and/or sand from feet before re-entering the hot tub.
22. It is advised to limit your soak in the hot tub to no more than 15 minutes at a time. Before re-entering the hot tub, make sure you have cooled off. If you overheat and faint, you can drown.
23. Keep your head, arms, and upper chest out of the hot tub water to avoid overheating.
24. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL or USE DRUGS before or during hot tub use. Being intoxicated and overheating can cause you to blackout and/or drown.
25. No glass cups/bottles or ceramic dishes in or around the swim spa/hot tub. Please use provided plastic cups or plastic bottles and aluminum cans only.
26. Do not place towels or clothing items into the swim spa/hot tub.
27. Get out of the hot tub if you feel dizzy, overheated, nauseous, or unwell.
28. Be careful when getting out so you don’t slip and fall.
29. Replace the cover and lock the front and back sides of the swim spa/hot tub after every use! Lock the shed door when not in use. DO NOT leave the hot tub unlocked or unattended, ESPECIALLY if children are present! This is a physical safety issue to prevent drowning and to prevent depletion of spa chemicals, which result in unsafe water balance.
30. Be sure to allow the shed to ventilate the area during warm weather by leaving the door open during usage in warm weather. You may close the door during cold weather.
31. Electric and water do not mix. DO NOT take any electric cords into the shed or near the swim/spa hot tub.
32. I further agree and warrant that if, at any time, I feel or think anything to be unsafe, I and all guests will immediately leave the area and advise my host.
33. LAST ONE! Enjoy yourself and make beautiful memories! :-)
